Piet van Harskamp studied industrial design at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). After graduating, he spent seven years at Maxakustik in Flurlingen, Switzerland, where he developed a deep understanding of acoustic materials and the craft of working with felt.
That time shaped both his aesthetic and his practice. Today he creates wall reliefs made from layered PET felt — stacked, cut, and hand-finished into sculptural forms that play with volume, shadow and color.
At Monica Ellis, creativity thrives in an atmosphere that balances ambition with a sense of ease. We believe in collaboration, where every voice matters and new ideas are explored together. Our open, sunlit office is more than just a workspace—it’s where we celebrate wins, learn from each other, and inspire one another daily.

We’re proud of a culture that embraces curiosity and ongoing growth, offering opportunities to develop both professionally and personally. Spontaneous brainstorming sessions, and occasional game nights keep our bond strong and our minds sharp.
